About this video:

Lindbergh's Latin American Good Will Tour of 1928 covered 9500 miles and involved 125 hours of flying time.  The tour that included 15 countries began on December 13, 1927 in Washington, D.C. and concluded on February 13, 1928.  The flight served as a survey flight for air mail routes that began a year later.
