Survey Confederate postal history viewing selected items from Colonel Mueller’s collection.  The focus of this video is on the development of postal service as well as problems associated with starting such a service in time of war. Colonel Mueller was a remarkable man and a member of the American Philatelic Society for 67 years. He was a longtime member of the Confederate Stamp Alliance and a veteran of the Mexican border conflict and two world wars.
